Capitol Cleaners has been serving the area since 1924. The former corporate company National Dry Cleaners Inc. was restructuring and selling off its assets, Brian and Angela Weidner along with a team of Dayton Business experts worked diligently together to offer a proposal and a strategy to follow their dreams to ownership. On September 27, 2008, Brian and Angie purchased thirteen stores in the asset purchase from NDCI and soon added two others during their first year of ownership. Completing this difficult transformation in the most difficult of times with regards to economic downturn, Capitol Cleaners transformed from a national company into a locally owned and operated business.
Brian has spent his entire work experience in the dry cleaning business, serving the industry for over 32 years in Lafayette, Indiana and the Miami Valley. Brian served under the previous company as District Manager, Regional Manager (day to day operations of Capitol Varsity, Inc., dba Capitol Dry Cleaners) and finally as Vice President of Operations for National Dry Cleaners, Inc.
Angie has spent over 20 years in the Dental Industry with service to the dental profession as an Assistant and Hygienist before coming on board to the business shortly after their purchase of Capitol Cleaners. Angie and Brian have two wonderful children, Abby and Emily. Abby is a graduate of Wright State University. Emily is a graduate of Ohio State University. Both were graduates of Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio.
Being that the company is locally owned and operated gives the Weidner’s the opportunity to operate their business with the customer in mind. From the beginning, day one, It is always been their mindset to follow this motto… “Ready to Wear or we make it RIGHT”.
